In an Inman News Survey, 9% of agents said they had been attacked or threatened. Over 5% had to use a gun to defend themselves. 5% relied on a cellphone application to stay safe.
Beverly tragically lost her life, but her foundation (The Beverly Carter Foundation) has created a platform for agents to feel safe, supported, and aware.
